Privacy Policy
CourtDates for iPhone and iPad
The short version: CourtDates collects nothing. There's no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to. Your schedules stay on your device.
What stays on your device
- The schedules you import. Saved in the app's own storage on your device. Never uploaded.
- Your teammates' details. TennisLink exports include captain names and phone numbers. These are read from the file you provide and stay on your device.
- Calendar events. Written to the calendar you choose, on your device, only after you grant calendar permission and tap Add to My Calendar. They're never transmitted to us.
- Which schedule is your free one. Stored in your device's Keychain so it survives reinstalling the app.
What leaves your device, and where it goes
Two things, and neither goes to us:
- Your home facility's address, to Apple. To get match times right, the app needs the league's time zone. It sends the one street address in your export to Apple's geocoding service and reads back the time zone for that place. This is handled by iOS and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see it.
- Your purchase, to Apple. The one-time unlock is processed entirely by the App Store. We receive no payment details, no card number, and no name or email — only Apple's confirmation that the purchase exists.
The app never contacts tennislink.usta.com, and there is no CourtDates server. Nothing else is sent anywhere.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ins or profiles.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No advertising, and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of data — there is none to sell.
Children
CourtDates is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Deleting your data
Swipe to delete a schedule inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. Calendar events you added stay in your Calendar app until you remove them there — deleting the calendar you put them in removes them all at once.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date below.
